At Whole Foods' Avalon flagship store, customers were presented with an easy to navigate, touch screen experience, that guided them in the choosing and pairing process for wine, beer and cheese.
Through this interaction, Whole Foods was also able to tell the story of these products and capitalize on cross-sell opportunities by way of suggesting complementary items.
Referencing Whole Foods' design elements, we leveraged their existing chalkboard illustrations. We then built a design system that could be used by their internal art department to highlight new products on a bi-weekly basis.
On a secondary screen experience, visual content pulled from Instagram and shot by producers and customers helped to recount their personal experiences with the products.
